This policy describes how this letter unscrambler site (“we”, “this site”) handles information when you use the tool.
Letters and filters
The unscrambler runs entirely in your browser on your device. Letters you type, length filters, and optional “starts with” / “contains” choices are not sent to our servers and are not stored by us. We do not offer user accounts, logins, or saved profiles.
Dictionary file
On first use (and again when your browser cache expires), the site downloads a static word list file (words.txt) from the same hosting location as the HTML. That file contains dictionary entries only—not anything you type. After download, word matching happens locally without uploading your rack.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use third-party advertising on this site at the time of this update. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and describe any cookies or ad partners involved.
Log data
Our hosting provider may automatically collect standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages or files requested) for security and operations. A request for words.txt appears in those logs like any other page view. We do not use those logs to identify you for marketing.
Children
This site is intended for general use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” note at the top will change when we do.
